After an extensive background check, a series of interviews, and a long wait, I was matched up with a mentee in the early spring of last year.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>I mentor a 10 year old boy from Wilton, and we spend about 1-2 hours every other week, sometimes every week, doing things like playing tennis, going to a movie, throwing a football around, or on a rainy day, grabbing a slice of pizza and visiting an arcade. It has been a thoroughly rewarding experience for the both of us.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>There are many young men and women like my mentee who are looking for someone they can spend some time with.
