snowhole – n. – 1. a driver who decides to leave snow on the roof of their car because they are a jerk and too lazy to clean it off 2. A driver who takes unnecessary extreme speed changes (slow or fast) in inclement weather<\/p>\n
When bad weather comes, care needs to be exercised in our policies and procedures for weather emergencies. In my business, I’ve always erred on the side of caution when it comes to canceling events or appointments because of inclement weather.<\/p>\n
One of the reasons I do so is because of snowholes. Snowholes drive around with a foot of snow on top of their car and expect no one around them to be concerned when the entire accumulation comes crashing down in front of them, in their windshield or on the road.<\/p>\n
Are you a snowhole? You are if you do any of the following<\/p>\n
1. Leave snow on your roof of an inch or more<\/p>\n
2. Drive exceedingly fast in the conditions<\/p>\n
3. Drive extremely slow in the conditions<\/p>\n
Next time you see one of your staff pull in the parking lot and are guilty of any of these three, please fire them (or at least call them a snowhole)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
