This isn’t an April fools joke – as of April 1st, I am no longer answering my phone.<\/p>\n
Yes, you heard it right, I am no longer answering phone calls after April 1st.<\/p>\n
Why? The phone is the most disruptive communication device on the planet, and unless it is a scheduled call, I am no longer answering it.<\/p>\n
Have I lost my mind? Maybe, but maybe night. By putting it out there that I no longer will be answering my phone, people will choose options that I’d prefer like<\/p>\n
– texting<\/p>\n
– email<\/p>\n
– Facebook message<\/p>\n
– scheduling a call<\/p>\n
These are all things I have access to from my phone (which is with me at all time), and those are the methods I will respond to immediately.<\/p>\n
For calls that do come in unannounced, I’m either going to have someone in charge of answering my business line or let them go to voicemail and respond back within the hour.<\/p>\n
