Line Cook/ Prep Cook

Under the direction of the Tasting Room Manager, you will work with our Line Cook to handle daily operations of the Tasting Room Kitchen at our Queensbury Location. Here you will work out of our kitchen, executing the preparation and creation of our beautiful charcuterie boards and flatbreads, sandwiches, and other casual food items.

· Kitchen Operations:

Your primary role is to assist with kitchen operations, creating beautiful charcuterie boards, sandwiches, flatbreads, and apps made to menu specifications, both on a small scale for our daily customers and on a large scale for our events. Such duties include, but are not limited to:

o Assist Tasting Room Manager in taking food inventory and ensuring all ingredients are stocked for service.

o Adhere to kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times

o Ensure the utmost quality of food being served to patrons

o Ensure cleaning standards for the kitchen are followed and maintained

o Follow health and safety protocols involving food and beverage handling and equipment use.

o Adhere to kitchen organization and storage standards and processes that ensure First in First Out methods are adhered to.

o Wash Dishes and Bus Tables as needed

· Team Player – Understanding that Adirondack Winery is a small business and as such, all employees must be prepared to jump in as needed on a variety of tasks with the well-being of the company as the goal. At certain times of the year, you may be called upon to represent Adirondack Winery at off-site events or work in other areas of the business to accommodate business needs.
