Are not ours to hide. A smile with a stance to show a present status is not creating knowledge and growth for others. Our trials and tribulations have taught us much to be passed to the younger generations. How dare we sit with so much to offer, in an effort to hide what we’ve done or faced in our youth or past? Is it not those trials and tribulations that have made us who we are today? Is it not those trials and tribulations that have given insight and wisdom? What good is it to keep for oneself? Only through my faith and prayer have I been given the blessings I have and come out on the other end of horrific trials and tribulations. Society can try to fall victim to the politics of removing God, prayer and Christianity from our schools, communities and family life, but they will not remove from what I believe to be true. I do not care how one chooses to embrace their faith but do not judge me on how I do. I have seen how faith and prayer has worked in my life and others close to me. Coming through many circumstances, trials and tribulations with such resilience is not a coincidence. Believing, reaching and praying through it all has carried me through. Learning to offer it up and just believing at times has been the only way. I am alive today because I believed in my faith and dropped to my knees many times pleading for resolutions. My family has faced situations that could have caused them to meet their demise and left many of us to crumble. Instead all rebound stronger and healthier than before. Unscathed? Not at all. However, all left with a little bit of what it means to have faith, love and prayer at the other end. When I think of all prayer, faith and trials and tribulations have brought to me, I tear up. I know how blessed I am and I want to share that grace with you. Whatever you do, don’t give up, LOOK UP! Offer it up…Then stand up and give it to others to see, believe and achieve. I am asking my God to give all who read this the blessings I have seen, believe and achieved through. God Bless
