Grappa ’72 Ristorante is the name of a new Italian restaurant which has opened at 818 Central Ave. in downtown Albany, NY.
Grappa is in the same location where Carmine’s Restaurant used to be, and is run by the same general manager, Armand Lule. The space has been redesigned and the back kitchen where Carmine Sprio used to tape cooking shows is now a room for open dining or private parties.
The Grappa menu consists of classic Italian dishes: Pastas, risotto dishes, fresh seafood dishes, veal, among other antipasto and appetizers, and of course a very distinctive wine list.
Grappa ’72 Ristorante is open daily for lunch and dinner. Call 482-7800 for reservations.
