An advanced premier of Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, will take place tonight, July 23, 2010 at the Palace Theater. The early showing is a celebration of the scenes that were filmed in Albany last year.
Salt is an action and adventure movie that opens this weekend in theaters across the country. Some of the action sequences were
filmed in and around Albany. They required the closing of the Capital District’s busiest highways and ramps.
The scenes included a chase scene on a bike and a stunt double clinging to, and later jumping off of, a moving truck. It will be exciting to see these scenes and the Capital City in the movie!
