Colonie NY – What started as a rumor, has now been confirmed! A Hooters location will open in the old Fuddruckers’ building on Wolf Road.
Last week, a viral rumor spread on Facebook that claimed a Hooters location would open in Colonie. This left Capital Region residents and Hooters hopefuls wondering whether it was true or just a well played April Fools joke.
Q103, a local rock radio station, took hold of the investigation and emailed the Planning Board of the Village of Colonie to get the details. The board confirmed that a Hooters location would in fact be opening and that the project was only approved within the last week.
Hooters was previously located in the Crossgates Mall. The location closed in 2007, due to lack of business. Do you think the Wolf Road location will bring more business?
