On August 7th, the Capital Region will have it’s first-ever Gay-and-Lesbian-focused Wedding Expo!
The Rainbow Wedding Network, a company that has produced over 50 “Same Love, Same Rights” Expos in 19 different states since 2003, will host the first Capital Region Gay and Lesbian Wedding Expo.
The exposition will be held from 1pm to 4pm on August 7th, at Birch Hill Catering in Schodack, NY.
Following the recent legislation allowing same-sex marriage in New York State, the expo will cater to an enormous new demographic of clientele, giving wedding-centered businesses the chance to reach out to homosexual couples making marriage plans.
So far, about half of the exposition’s 50 available business spaces have been reserved.
While the exhibitors will primarily be wedding-related businesses, there will also be companies advertising their real estate, adoption, legal and financial services.
