Schenectady has a new annual event, and boy is it going to be ugly! But then again, it doesn’t have to be! Beauty and ugly are both in the eye of the beholder this weekend at the 1st Annual Schenectady Kiwanis Ugly Car Contest!
“Not Just Ugly, Not Just Cars” is the tagline for this new event, and it couldn’t be more appropriate. Ugly and stunning cars, trucks and motorcycles will all be judged. Prizes are awarded in 14 categories, ranging from Best Paint to Worst Paint, Best Hot Rod to Ugliest Car and even a People’s Choice award!
There is a fee for entry (with early bird specials) and it’s free for spectators. Event is this Saturday, September 17th with a rain date for Sunday the 18th. More on the Ugly Car Contest here >>
