Ever since the McDonald’s in Colonie went under construction, we’ve been waiting for it to re-open: that moment is here!
Yes! Tomorrow, May 31, 2012, McDonald’s will formally celebrate the opening of its newly renovated restaurant on Karner Road.
“We are looking forward to enhancing the experiences of our customers through the additional services we’ll be providing at this restaurant,” says George Michell, owner and operator of the McDonald’s.
New York State Senator Neil Breslin, New York State Assemblyman Robert Reilly, and Colonie Mayor Frank Leak, will all be all be there for the 4:00 p.m. ribbon cutting.
There will be a presentation of gifts, remarks by George Michell, and of course refreshments!
Update: George Michell will also be opening the McDonald’s in Niskayuna on June 7th! This will be the third area fast food restaurant that Michell has renovated, in an effort to make McDonald’s more energy efficient.
