Kids play with robotics every day in their toys and games. Whether they’re playing with legos or their latest electronic item, children’s interest in robotics is ready made. So, why not take them out to the Schenectady Museum on August 11 for a special robotics workshop just for kids?
This robotics workshop is the perfect way to show kids how fun times playing with toys can translate into a passion for science, technology and engineering.
Even if your child would rather be playing with Barbies and American Girl dolls, this workshop can show her that robotics aren’t just for the pencil-necked nerd. Robotics are also used in medicine, art, and even fashion design.
Children at the workshop will learn how to use household objects and craft supplies to create their very own robot. Sounds cool, right?
And who knows, maybe a child at this workshop will one day design the next Mars Rover!
The workshop will take place at the Schenectady Museum August 11 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, and is for children ages seven and up.
