Glassman has just announced a soft opening for the music joint The Low Beat
The Low Beat will fire up its sound system for the first
time tonight with a live performance by Warhols Woodshed at 5 p.m. The memories
of Valentine’s will not be forgotten as one of the area’s essential music
joints moves to the clean-slated Low Beat on 335 Central Avenue adjacent to The
summer marked the final plans for Albany Medical Center to raze the block of
New Scotland Ave for a five-story building, sending both Valentine’s music hall
and the Quintessence diner packing.
CORRECTION: The Erotics show will be at The Low Beat this weekend, not at Valentine’s. Check out more information on The Erotics live at The Low Beat.
