The 14th Annual Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival, an all-day, free concert event, will be returning to Jennings Landing on Saturday, September 12! Five different musical acts will be performing, and there will be great food, beverages, vendors, and a fireworks show, as well.

The lineup for the Jazz Festival is as follows:
1:00pm – 2:00pm – Larry Moses’ Latin Jazz Express
This seven-piece Hudson Valley band is what happens when the sophisticated sounds of jazz mix it up with the red-hot Latin rhythms of Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the streets of NYC.
2:30pm – 3:30pm – The Joey Thomas Big Band
The 16-piece Joey Thomas Big Band is making its Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival debut, and will have any jazz lover falling in love with the big band all over again.
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Keith Pray’s Soul Jazz Revival
Saxophonist and composer Keith Pray is a native of upstate New York who has shared the stage with hundreds of gifted musicians.
5:30pm – 6:30pm – Kate Davis
Whether she’s crooning rootsy ballads or plucking bright riffs from her bass, this gutsy songstress from Portland, OR puts a fresh spin on the standards and brings a canonical sensibility to her own lush tracks.
7:00pm – 8:15pm – Booker T. Jones
It can be argued that it was Booker T. Jones who set the cast for modern soul music and is largely responsible for its rise and enduring popularity.
