The Berry Farm, Chatham
This no spray and no pesticide farm has pick-your-own blueberries and raspberries available. Blueberries start at $2.99 per pound and raspberries at $4.99 per pound. Swing by Sunday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or Thursday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Eagle’s View Farm, Galway
Choose fro ma variety of different types of blueberries this August. Berries start at $2.20 per pound with a $3 minimum per person.
Hand Melon Farm, Greenwich
Blueberries are $2.75 per pound. Hand Melon Farm is open Wednesday through Friday f rom 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Hay Berry Farm, Hoosick Falls
Open Thursday through Monday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Hay Berry Farm has eight different types of blueberries to pick!
Hicks Orchard, Granville
New York’s oldest “u-pick” orchard! Choose from four different types of blueberries at Hicks Orchard. Starting at $3 per pound, the Orchard is open Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Indian Ladder Farms, Altamont
While the blueberries are gone, it’s still worth the trip to pick some raspberries! They are $4.50 per pound and are available to be picked Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Samsacott Orchards, Kinderhook
Take a stroll through one of Samsacott Orchards’ huge blueberry fields! Open everyday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a $5 minimum for pick your own berries.
Blueberry season in the northeast comes and goes quickly, so be sure to take advantage of it! The biggest yields of high bush and low bush blueberries are in early to mid-August.
