Remember when we told you how Bombers Burrito Bar’s Troy location closed back in November? Well, we have some news about what will become of the space! Get the details:
Matt Baumgartner, owner of several Bombers and Wolff’s Biergarten locations, along with the Olde English Pub & Pantry, has announced that the space will become New York’s fourth Wolff’s Biergarten location.
The Albany Business Review reported that Baumgartner and business partner Jimmy Vann were thinking of reopening the space with a restaurant that mixed the best of both Bombers and Biergarten.
However, Baumgartner took to his Twitter handle (@BurritoBoy) and asked his followers which they would rather see in Troy: Bombers or Biergarten? Wolff’s Biergarten won with 67% of the votes.
The space will be converted into Wolff’s Biergarten over the course of two to three months. Some of the renovations will include a potential patio expansion, changes to decor and the addition of their recognizable retractable garage doors.
We can’t wait for Wolff’s Biergarten to open in Collar City! What do you think about the new location?
