2. 66th Annual Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the annual parade through Albany! Irish bagpipers and step dancers will be just some of the participants this year. Be sure to take note of road closures and parking restrictions before heading into the city!
3. St. Patrick’s Parade Family Festival

A brand new event is taking place this year in Academy Park in front of City Hall! This family-friendly, alcohol-free festival will feature live music, entertainment by an Irish dance group, kids’ activities, information vendors, and much more in celebration of the culture and heritage of Ireland.
4. Capital Region Wine Festival
Saturday, March 12
Proctors will host the 8th Annual Capital Region Wine Festival on Saturday afternoon. Attendees will be able to sample a wide variety of exceptional red, white, and sparkling wines, plus delights from local restaurants!
5. Maple Sugar Open House at Five Rivers
Saturday, March 12
March is Maple Season in Upstate New York! Experience an introduction to maple sugaring at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center, then choose from a wide variety of maple products that will be available for sale.
6. Catch the Leprechaun 5K & 10K
Sunday, March 13
This competitive, yet friendly and fun event at the Albany Corning Preserve will benefit the Irish American Heritage Museum. In addition to the race, there will be music, food, and an awards ceremony for top race performers!
