1. 4th Annual Friday Night Lights
Friday, April 22
The Tri-City ValleyCats and Coaches vs. Cancer will host the 4th Annual Friday Night Lights at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The high school baseball double-header will begin with Colonie High taking on Troy High at 4:00pm, followed by a match between Shaker and Christian Brothers Academy at 7:00pm.
Saturday, April 23
The annual Brink 5K is run in honor of Trooper David C. Brinkerhoff who died in the line of duty on April 25, 2007. Brinkerhoff was a 2001 graduate of UAlbany, and funds from the 5K run/walk go toward a scholarship fund in his name that’s given to a UAlbany student.

The inaugural Albany Improv Festival will bring 21 troupes from Texas to Rhode Island to the Capital Region for a full day of performances at The Madison Theater. All performance proceeds will be donated to the Albany Damien Center.

Visit the Iroquois Indian Museum on Saturday and participate in the process of flint knapping, fire making, cordage making, spear throwing, and early archery! There will also be displays of projectile points, tools, and local archaeological finds.
5. Schenectady Symphony Orchestra
Sunday, April 24
The Schenectady Symphony Orchestra will be performing at Proctors on Sunday afternoon. The program will include Finlandia and Symphony No. 2 by Jean Sibelius, Concerto for Vibraphone by Emmanuel Sojourne, and Concerto for Percussion by Darius Milhaud.
