Albany Barn’s Fusion is this Friday, October 14th, and you won’t want to miss out on this major event! Albany Barn is celebrating their 10th anniversary in style with this “anti-gala” which will bring art, food, and wine together in the culmination of a perfect evening in Albany. This year, Fusion’s theme is “the function of art and industry.” The theme will involve works made from wood and metal in conjunction with materials for traditional anniversary gifts.
We can expect to see works from the following artists:
- Matthew Bartik
- Emily Dorr
- Tabitha Heisch
- Casey Polomaine
- Craig Schufelt
- Peter Leue
- Kris Hauser
In partnership with the Albany Chefs Wine & Food Festival, Fusion will also be featuring a custom menu put together by local Chef Michelle Hines Abram, with special guests Chef Derek Adams, Chef Patrick Pipino, and Chef Benji Blanco. The menu will be in correspondence with the evening’s theme, and will showcase the individual talents of each chef’s style.
In addition, Druthers Brewing Company will be providing hors d’oeuvres and beer; Empire Wine and DeCrescente Distributing Company will be offering wine pairings and non-alcoholic beverages. Coffee and dessert displays will round out the evening.
Fusion will also include:
- A silent auction
- Live art installations
- Upbeat musical selections
- An after party with live music
- Shuttle tours of the Breathing Lights public art installation
The after party and shuttle tours, although happening after the event, are included with the price of admission.
Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at AlbanyBarn.org.
