The annual holiday celebration at Albany City Hall is happening on Wednesday, November 30th, from 5pm to 7pm – here are the details and schedule of events!
Amy Heebner will perform on the historic Albany City Carillon at 4:30pm to get the event started.
At 5:30pm, Mayor Kathy Sheehan will host the tree lighting ceremony in front of Albany City Hall, along with members of the Albany Tulip Court and city officials.
Guests can enjoy a holiday performance by the Albany High School Albanettes Choir, and refreshments from Cider Belly Doughnuts and Stacks Espresso. City Hall will be open from 5pm to 7pm with refreshments, music, vendors, and informational tables.
The Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center Holiday Market is happening the same evening – the Advantage Transit Group trolley is offering a free shuttle for attendees between City Hall and the Albany Visitors Center at Quackenbush Square.
The Holiday Market will feature local gift items, live music, door prizes, refreshments, and craft beverage samples from local wineries and breweries like the Hudson-Chatham Winery and Druthers Brewing Company.
