A unique pizza chain is about to make a home in the Capital Region! An agreement has been signed for three units in Albany, Troy, and Saratoga. Here’s what makes this NY-style fast casual pizza different from the current chains in the region.
Uncle Maddio’s Pizza basically lets the customer build their own pizza – but without getting their hands dirty – you tell the pizza maker exactly what you want. The guests choose from one of three crusts, 48 toppings, six sauces, 27 vegetables, and 15 meats!
Although based in Atlanta, Uncle Maddio’s actually specializes in New York-style pizza – and the Capital Region will be the first in New York State to experience this pizza chain.
“We couldn’t pass on the opportunity to introduce New Yorkers to what we believe is the best NY-style, craft pizza around – a homecoming for us in a sense!” CEO Matt Andrew said in a statement.
Andrew believed that consumers wanted more of New York-style pizza, and industry research confirmed: most pizza enthusiasts do prefer the New York-style crust to any other pizza style.
Franchisee Rajesh Parihar of Latham will be operating the three Uncle Maddio’s locations, after finding that the pizza chain’s “Served with Love” culture really spoke to him.
“I am looking forward to working hard to ensure that the Uncle Maddio’s brand, values, and processes are held close throughout the development and operations of these New York restaurants,” Parihar said in a statement.
With so many options to customize a perfect pizza just for you, Uncle Maddio’s is sure to be a hit in the Capital Region! You can also find other excellent pizza parlors in the Albany area, with numerous choices to fulfill your pizza needs.
