New York Craft Brewers Festival

Beer lovers, rejoice! The New York Craft Brewers Festival is back at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. You’ll have access to over 50 New York State breweries and over 100 hard-to-find and award-winning beers.Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door (if available), and designated drivers have a discounted price of $15.
Capital District Garden & Flower Show
Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26
The biggest garden and flower show in the region is happening once again this weekend at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. The theme this year is “Diamonds and Pearls.” Highlights of the event include over 16,000 square feet of blooming gardens, a floral competition, and presentations from industry professionals. You will not want to miss out on the outstanding floral and garden displays!

2nd Annual Clucks & Pucks for LLS
Saturday, March 25
Little Dog Advertising and the Albany Devils are teaming up at the Times Union Center for this fun fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Come out to taste and judge chicken wings from your favorite area restaurants for a great cause! There will also be a silent auction, drink specials, and giveaways. And, each ticket also includes entry to the River Rats 90’s Throwback Night game happening after the event where you can see the Devils take on the Providence Bruins. Tickets are between $25 and $30.
Colonie Restaurant Week – Spring 2017
Through Friday, March 24
This Friday marks the end of Colonie Restaurant Week! Enjoy a three-course meal at a participating restaurant in the Capital Region for only $25. Restaurants involved include The Bull & Barrel Smokehouse Grill, Barnsider Restaurant, Century House, and Market Restaurant inside Albany Marriott, among others.
Pancake Breakfast Maple Weekend
Saturday, March 25
The United Methodist Church at Berlin, in Berlin, is offering a supreme pancake breakfast with homemade pancakes with fresh local blueberries optional. There will also be sausage, homemade applesauce, beverages, and fresh maple syrup from Kent’s Sugar House. Stop in at Kent’s Sugar House before or after breakfast for a tour and a free sample of sap, syrup, or the popular maple popcorn. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children three to ten, and free for kids under three.

The Garden Brothers Circus will be at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany this weekend. Shows are at 1:30pm, 4:30pm, and 7:30pm on Saturday, and at 1pm, 3:30pm, and 6pm on Sunday. The show features Motorcycle Madness with motorcycle daredevils somersaulting and spinning, a human slingshot, daring aerialists, and more. Tickets range from $9.95 to $38.00.
Sunday, March 26
The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is holding a “Fox Trot” – see a presentation on the two species of fox that live in the Pine Bush, and then head out for a quick hike to look for signs that our furry friends have been out and about. This event is appropriate for ages six and up. The price is $3.00 per person or $5.00 per family.
