The Touch-a-Truck event is back at Crossgates Mall. There is free admission with a suggested donation for Veterans Count NY, which provides critical financial assistance and other services for veterans and their families. Kids will get to touch larger-than-life trucks, partake in giveaways, and enjoy family fun.

The psychological-thriller Black Swan with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis is playing at The Madison Theater this weekend. You’ll have several chances to see the flick, and tickets are just $5.
Participate in the Tulip Dig
Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, May 21
Join Washington Park Conservancy volunteers on Saturday as the group digs up tulips at the Moses statue in Washington Park. Limited quantities of tulips will be available for volunteers. On Sunday, the tulips are made available for sale to the public for $5 for a bag of 30 or so bulbs.

Walk/Run for a Great Cause

Great Strides is happening at The Crossings in Loudonville. This is a fun, family-oriented event with a 5K walk, kids activities, food, and more. Proceeds are going towards the Northeastern New York chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The River Street Pub is hosting Raging on the River with the Whether You Like It or Not Tour. See ill.Gates, Levitation Jones, Evac Protocol, and Ludge – these groups all play exciting electronic dance music. Tickets start at $15, but tickets for the first two tiers are sold out – Tier 3 and VIP Meet & Greet tickets are still available.
