Legally Blonde is the latest Pop-Up show in the Capital Region from Consortium Actors. The Pop-Up Theatre company will be donating a portion of the shows proceeds to the Susan G. Komen foundation in support of those affected by and battling breast cancer.
In a statement released about the show and her personal battle with breast cancer, Artistic Director Sharon Paluch said:
“Legally Blonde is about the empowerment of women-about discovering the amazing woman within and stepping forward in confidence to become the strongest version of herself. A woman can be her strongest and most beautiful even bald and without a breast. We partner with the Susan G. Komen foundation to fundraise to participate in finding a cure so that every woman can face this diagnosis with strength and the knowledge that she has the resources to fight this killer and be blessed to call herself ‘Survivor’.”
Catch shows at the Siena College Beaudoin Theatre at Foy Hall in Loudonville on these dates:
July 13-15 and 20-22 at 8pm
July 16 at 3pm
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the Consortium Actors website.
