For several months The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region has been keeping a secret: the location of their annual fundraising event. All that was previously revealed was that it would be in Schenectady, but now we know exactly where The Masquerade will be taking place next month.
The Masquerade in Schenectady
The Masquerade, an exclusive and imaginative annual fundraiser for The Ronald McDonald House, will be at the Schenectady Armory on Friday, October 27th. Typically, it’s in Albany, but the organizers are switching things up this year to keep the event fresh and exciting.
Each year, The Masquerade embodies a different theme and this year’s theme is The Streets of London. Guests will be transported back in time to this beautiful city at the turn of the century. Everyone arrives in mask for a night of anonymity, intrigue, and surprises.
This fundraiser has raised close to $100,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2015.
About The Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home and so much more for families of seriously ill children. Among other programs and support it provides, the Ronald McDonald House allows parents a place to stay near their kids in the hospital free of charge – this is an invaluable resource when families are already burdened financially by medical costs.
