The Albany Last Run 5K is one of the most popular 5Ks in the area, it’s happening this weekend, and the organizers just announced they’ve added additional spots. Get the details and hurry and register today before they sell out!
An additional 200 spots have been added to the Albany Last Runk 5K, which is happening this Saturday, the 9th, to accommodate last-minute runners. You can register online or download a mail-in entry form. The cost to register is $30. Day-of registration, if there are still spaces available, will be $35.
The Albany Last Run 5K is a fun event for all ages, and involves running through the beautiful Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park; there is also a starting line fireworks show.
The race features chip timing, age-based divisional awards, and random prize drawings. There will be an awards recognition and posting of the results at the base of The Egg following the race, along with refreshments from Whole Foods. Proceeds benefit the St. Peter’s Cardiac & Vascular Center.
