The holiday fun continues in the Albany area! Happening this weekend: a holiday-themed 5K going through the lights in Washington Park, several holiday markets to get your shopping completed, and two more holiday events.
A 5K and Holiday Lights
Saturday, December 9
The wildly popular Last Run 5K to benefit St. Peter’s Cardiac & Vascular Center is happening this Saturday, and as of this writing, registration is still open. Registration costs $30, or if there are still available spots on Saturday, it will be $35 on the day-of. The race goes through the festive Capital Holiday Lights and they’ve added additional spots for this year!
Through Tuesday, January 2
Not into running outside in the cold? Don’t forget the Capital Holiday Lights are up from now until the second of January in Washington Park. It costs $20 per vehicle to drive through the amazing light show, and proceeds go towards Albany PAL’s juvenile crime prevention programs.
