The third annual Hannaford MAAC-n-Cheese Fest will be returning next month with an exciting new addition! Macaroni and cheese, beer, and basketball fans will come together to enjoy great food and drinks, along with the brand new I Love New York 3-on-3 MAAC Corporate Basketball Challenge.
About the Event
The Hannaford MAAC-n-Cheese Fest will take place on Friday, March 2nd, from 4pm to 6:30pm at the Albany Capital Center. There will be a craft beer tasting in addition to the macaroni and cheese samples.
Participating restaurants include: Ama Cocina, Allie B’s Cozy Kitchen, Angelo’s 677 Prime, City Beer Hall, Cider Belly, Excelsior Pub, Parish Public House, Philly Bar and Lounge, Public House 42, Wellington’s, and Wolff’s Biergarten.
The MAAC-n-Cheese Fest will also feature the semi-final round of the inaugural I Love New York 3-on-3 MAAC Corporate Basketball Challenge. This brand new challenge pits local companies and organizations against one another for the chance to take center court at the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships at the Times Union Center.
Other highlights of the Hannaford MAAC-n-Cheese Fest include performances by spirit squads and pep bands from MAAC colleges and universities, family-friendly entertainment, and more fun in the MAAC Fan Zone presented by Pioneer Bank.
Tickets
Tickets to MAAC-n-Cheese Fest are $8 and include five samples of macaroni and cheese. The craft beer tasting tickets are separate and cost $5 for three samples. The MAAC-n-Cheese Fest tickets can be purchased online beforehand, or at the door (cash only); the beer tasting tickets will only be sold at the event.
