Last week, Crossgates and Hilton celebrated the opening of a brand new, 192-room hotel located on-site at Crossgates. The dual-branded Homewood Suites and Tru by Hilton is first of its kind in the country and features two separate areas designed for each brand. Shop and Stay
Offering larger communal areas and enhanced amenities, the dual-branding promises to be a plus for both business and leisure travelers. During their stay, hotel guests will find:
- Designated lobby and dining areas for both brands,
- A 24-hour fitness center,
- An indoor pool,
- Outdoor grills,
- Sport courts, and
- Airport shuttle services.
A meeting room is also available for use, and in partnership with Crossgates, additional meeting spaces can be found at several venues within the Crossgates Complex.
Mall Perks
The new hotel was developed by Pyramid Management Group, who was recognized by Hilton as the 2017 Developer of the Year. According to a recent release, the property will provide guests with extra perks at Crossgates, including fantastic savings and conveniences. They include:
- A Stay & Save savings pass received at check-in, full of extra savings at shops, restaurants, and entertainment destinations within the mall, and
- A Shop & Drop delivery service, allowing guests to continue shopping without having to carry their bags back to the hotel.
