The Ultimate Auto Show
Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4
This is not your typical car show! You will not want to miss out on over 150 new vehicles from over 30 manufacturers at the annual Albany Auto Show at the Times Union Center. There will also be exhibitor booths with auto-related products and services. Admission is just $10, and kids under 12 are free.
Wings, Beer, Cider & More
Saturday, November 3
This is a great deal – how does two wings from each of 15 participating restaurants for $25 sound? That’s a lot of wings! Head to the Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy for the ultimate wing event and vote for your favorite. There will also be beer and wine available for purchase, and in case you haven’t had enough to eat with all the wings, free pizza.
Northeast Ski & Craft Beer Showcase
Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4
This is New York’s largest and longest-running winter sports show. If you’re into skiing, snowboarding, and more winter sports head to the Albany Capital Center this weekend and check out what’s new with equipment, fashion, and more. There will also be a Beer Garden!
Nine Pin Production Floor Tour
Sunday, November 4
Tis the season for hard cider! Check out what Nine Pine Ciderworks has to offer through this walk-through of their facility on Sunday. The cost is $20 and includes an in-depth discussion about cider-making, tastings of limited ciders, and a souvenir glass to go.
A Unique Parade With Lanterns
Sunday, November 4
Check out a sunset parade of homemade lanterns around Washington Park. This is the third year this event is taking place, it’s free and family-friendly, and is a great chance to see the park all lit up before the official Capital Holiday Lights come up.
Kids Fun & More Special Events at Local Malls
Thursday, November 1 to Saturday, November 10
Starting on Thursday, Elfie the elf will be hidden somewhere in Colonie Center, to be moved each week. If you find him, get a selfie, post with the appropriate hashtag, and you’ll be entered to win $1,000. The winner will be chosen on Black Friday.
Saturday, November 3
Did you know? The first Saturday of the month a Kids Club takes place at Colonie Center on the lower level by H&M. Hot Spot Yoga will be there on Saturday teaching kids the basics of yoga.
Thursday, November 1 to Tuesday, November 6
No worries this year when it comes to leftover Halloween candy, Colonie Center has your back! Have your child (12 or under) bring the unwanted candy in on November 1st, 2nd, 5th, or 6th. They’re paying $1 for each pound of candy.
Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4
There will be an Arts, Crafts & Lifestyle Show at Colonie Center throughout the weekend. Get a head start on holiday shopping as you check out jewelry, crafts, health and wellness items, and more products.

The Capital Region’s first Military Awareness Day is happening at Crossgates on Friday afternoon. There will be vendors, seminars, information on how to support veterans, and more.
