Whether you’re a kid, teen, or even an adult, there’s something fun about letting your imagination run wild as you create a unique structure or object with LEGO® bricks. If you’re a fan of everything LEGO, then you should attend the LEGO Americana Roadshow at Crossgates Mall on February 9-24, 2019!

See Iconic American Landmarks in LEGO Form
Hosted at Crossgates and presented by MVP Health Care, the LEGO Americana Roadshow is a celebration of the country’s most iconic landmarks through LEGO replicas. This is the interactive exhibit’s Capital Region debut, and a wide variety of festivities will take place at the mall.
The LEGO Americana Roadshow will feature 10 large-scale replicas of famous American buildings and sites, including The White House, U.S. Capitol, The Statue of Liberty, The Liberty Bell, and The Lincoln Memorial.
In a press release, Michael Gately, General Manager of Crossgates, said “We are bringing a piece of Americana to Crossgates – except these are built by LEGO Master Creators over thousands of hours using over half a million standard LEGO bricks.”
Here are some of the roadshow’s other highlights:
- LEGO Brickscapes will be located throughout Crossgates and feature six themed landscapes, such as Mount Rushmore and Duplo Castle. Stop by the Brickscape in the lobby of the new Tru & Homewood Suites by Hilton at Crossgates to receive a Statue of Liberty kit while supplies last.
- A LEGO Play Area will be set up on the lower level near Lord & Taylor. Visitors of all ages may build whatever their heart desires.
- Attendees can participate in an activity that will bring them to each landmark. After answering questions about the exhibits, you can visit the mall’s LEGO Store and receive a free LEGO Americana collective card pack while supplies last.
From February 9-24, 2019, the LEGO Americana Roadshow will be free and open to the public on the upper and lower level of Crossgates Mall (10:00am-9:30pm on Monday through Saturday, and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday). Families with special needs can enjoy the roadshow near Lord & Taylor on both Wednesdays from 9:00am-10:00am before it opens to the public.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see these LEGO masterpieces!
