Get ready for another year of PearlPalooza! On Saturday, September 14, the festival returns to N. Pearl Street in Downtown Albany for its 10th year of free live music, local vendors, and fun activities, including the 3rd annual YogaPalooza. This year’s lineup will feature several successful bands, as well as the winner of Skyloft’s EQX Battle of the Bands. As many as 10,000 guests are expected to attend.

PearlPalooza 2019’s acts are the popular alternative rock bands Wild Belle, The Moth & The Flame, In the Valley Below, and * repeat repeat, as well as the local soul/funk group Victory Soul Orchestra. All of the bands have recently released albums, and many have played at other festivals around the country and the world.
Also taking the stage will be the winner of EQX Battle of the Bands. The competitions to qualify for the honor will be August 8, 15, and 22 at Skyloft in Crossgates Mall.
Admission to the festival is free and open to all ages. Parking for the event will be $5 at the Riverfront Garage. Performances and activities will be held on two stages, the Remarkable Liquids Stage at the intersection of N. Pearl and Sheridan Avenue, and the O’Connell & Aronowitz Stage, located at N. Pearl and Pine Street.

The day is set to begin at 11 am with MVP Healthcare’s third annual YogaPalooza in front of Remarkable Liquids Stage. Hot Spot Yoga instructors will lead the crowd in a free hour-long yoga class for all skill levels. About 400 people attended YogaPalooza last year.
At 12 pm, 18 teams will compete in the second annual PearlPalooza Cornhole Tournament on N. Pearl Street.
The concerts will kick off at 1 pm and switch between stages every other show.
