Celebrate the season at the 35th Annual Grafton Lakes Winter Fest! Hosted at Grafton Lakes State Park, this family-friendly winter festival will have everything from horse drawn carriage rides to a polar plunge, snowshoe races, snow bowling, a snow sculpture contest, kids nature crafts, and more. Admission is free.
This Saturday, restaurants in downtown Schenectady will open their doors to visitors for the 2020 Schenectady Soup Stroll. Take a walk through the community and sample the best soups Schenectady has to offer. At the end, remember to vote for your favorite soup recipe.
Make your way to Frog Alley Brewing in Schenectady this Saturday for the Frozen Frog Ice Bar & Mo’rad Can Release Party presented by WEQX. The party will run from 12:00pm-7:00pm and include live music, an ice bar and luge, food trucks, and drink specials. Admission is $10.

Cheer on the hometown team, the Siena Saints Mens Basketball, as they compete at the Times Union Center in Albany this weekend. The team will face off against the Marist College Red Foxes Mens Basketball on Friday night and the Quinnipiac Bobcats Mens Basketball on Sunday night.
Don’t miss the 8th Annual Capital District Mayor’s Cup Hockey on Saturday at the Times Union Center. The year’s matchup will feature RPI vs. Union with games at 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

The 23rd Annual Garden Bowl at Uncle Sam Lanes in Troy will raise funds for Capital Roots’ fresh food access and urban greening programs. This winter bowling extravaganza will feature winning prizes from over 50 local businesses for high scores, highest fundraising amount, and more.
TomFest is a celebration of the life of local artist and musician Tom D’Ambrose, and it will be held at The Hangar on the Hudson in Troy. Tom’s artwork will be on display, and the festival will have live music from Circle of Willis, Double B and the Drive-By Jazz Band, The Lustre Kings w/ Erin Harkes, and many others. Admission is a $10 suggested donation to benefit the Albany Center Gallery and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
