It seems like once a year or so there’s a casting call for extras, for a television show or movie being filmed in the Albany area. A recent notice has gone out on an HBO series and they need extras – get the details below!
You can register for free to be an extra in the HBO series The Gilded Age, from the creator of Downton Abbey. They’re looking for men, women, and children, although especially need women with long hair and men with facial hair. This is paid work and no experience is necessary, you just need to be able to legally work in the US.
Filming will take place in Troy from June 8th to the 23rd. You can register for free at GWCI.app/talent. When registering, you’ll need to upload a recent photo that shows your current hair length, and select both Albany and Troy as your employment area. Good luck!
