Plus, there will be mini boutiques with clothing, jewelry, and other products for sale.
Don’t miss a night of fun at the River Street Market in Troy! Troy Cloth & Paper will co-present a special Valentine’s Day Ink and Drink event. An admission ticket gives you one apparel item to print, and tickets should be purchased in advance to guarantee admittance. It’s Valentine’s Day Weekend, and if you’re looking for free fun in the Albany area, then the Empire “Skate” Plaza is the place to be. The outdoor ice skating rink is open daily throughout winter, and on Saturday, skate rentals are free courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets. Hit the ice with family and friends!
If you want to make the most of the recent snowy weather, then plan a trip to Clifton Park for their annual Winterfest! This celebration of winter welcomes families and people of all ages to enjoy a soup contest, Clifton Park Idol Singing Competition, sleigh rides, snow tubing, and other outdoor activities in the community.

Ready to hunt for some hidden treasures? The 49th Annual DAR Antique Show will be held at the Polish Community Center in Albany. From 9:00am-4:00pm, visitors can browse 40+ antique vendors and raffle baskets. Proceeds from the antique show will benefit veterans, student scholarships, and historic preservation projects.
The Nines will host their inaugural Bridal Expo at the picturesque Western Turnpike Golf Course in Guilderland. Stop by and peruse the wedding vendors for a good cause. Each $5 admission ticket will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The annual bookraising event known as Project: Cameron’s Story is happening now in the Capital Region. Support the cause, donate books, and head to Barnes & Noble – Colonie on Sunday for arts & crafts, cookie decorating, visits with Elmo, Peppa Pig, and Scooby Doo, and more.

Next Saturday, Albany Center Gallery and Albany Distilling Company will co-host their 2nd Annual Winter Art Fest in downtown Albany. This unique block party will include live art and installations, a DJ, ice games, food and drinks, and other festivities. Admission is $20 and funds raised will support the Albany Center Gallery.
