Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Dunkin’ has been working hard to find meaningful ways to say “thank you” to healthcare professionals on the frontlines. In celebration of this week’s National Nurses Day (Wednesday, May 6), the brand has announced a special in-store offer for all healthcare workers.

Celebrate National Nurses Day
On May 6, Dunkin’ will offer a free medium hot or iced coffee and a free donut to all healthcare workers who visit participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide, while supplies last.
In a press release, Dave Hoffmann, CEO of Dunkin’ Brands, said “As a brand with a long heritage of serving those who serve, we appreciate and honor the heroic work and unwavering commitment nurses and healthcare professionals show every day. Their selfless sacrifices inspire all of us to come together to do everything we can to support our communities.”
As we all face the challenges presented by COVID-19 together, Dunkin’ will continue to play a role. The brand has brought food trucks and made product deliveries to hospitals, emergency sites, and first responders across the country.
Not only that, but in honor of last week’s Pay It Forward Day, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation announced a $200,000 grant to First Descents, a global leader in adventure-based healing. This grant will go toward a new “Hero Recharge” initiative designed to help healthcare professionals facing significant traumatic stress by offering them adventure-based wellness programs.
Most Dunkin’ U.S. restaurants are open with limited services, including takeout, drive-thru ordering, curbside pickup, and delivery.
