Ordering takeout is a great way to support all your favorite restaurants and shops. To encourage customers to buy local and support businesses in Troy during this public health crisis, Franklin Alley Social Club and local publicist Duncan Crary have launched Troy Takeout Bingo.
What Is Troy Takeout Bingo?
Troy Takeout Bingo is an independent initiative presented by Franklin Alley Social Club and Duncan Crary. Participating businesses are included on game boards, and when you order takeout from one of them, you will receive a game piece (customers are encouraged to ask for their piece). After you have enough pieces to form a line (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal), you will have a Bingo and can claim a prize.
Round 1 of Troy Takeout Bingo ran from March 25 – April 11, and it ended with 13 winners. Due to the popularity of the game, the second round began on April 30, and that will conclude on May 31.
35 local businesses are participating in Round 2 of Troy Takeout Bingo, and the list includes restaurants and establishments in downtown Troy and the East Side, Hill, Little Italy, and Lansingburgh neighborhoods.
To begin, all you have to do is visit this Facebook link and check out the Discussion tab for photos of the Round 2 Game Cards. Download and print out one of these cards, and then begin ordering takeout from participating businesses.
After you’ve filled an entire row, take a photo of your completed game card and post it in this Facebook event to claim your prize. Prizes will be given out every Sunday to the winners.
Round 2 of Troy Takeout Bingo ends on May 31, and there will be a grand prize for the first person to fill every square on their Bingo card.
