As reported by the Albany Business Review, the lodging property is now named Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel, and there are new upgrades and modern features. The Times Union has reported that Wizard Burger, a spin-off of Burrito Burrito in Troy, opened in downtown Albany last month. Farmhouse Tap + Tavern Opens for Takeout Service
Have you heard? The new Farmhouse Tap + Tavern in Altamont has officially opened for takeout service only. They specialize in modern American pub fare made with locally sourced ingredients, and the takeout menu features woodfired pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and more. The restaurant doesn’t have an opening date for dine-in service yet, so be sure to follow their Facebook for updates.
