Food Near Me, a new family-owned convenience store, is now open at 87 North Pearl Street in downtown Albany. According to the Times Union, this store fulfills a major need for North Pearl Street residents after the local Walgreens closed in February. In addition to household basics, they offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches, subs, salads, vegetable juices, and fruit smoothies.
Discover the Wonders of Flight at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome
The next time you’re in the mood for a day trip, gather up the family and check out the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, which is located about 1 hour south of Albany in Red Hook. Featuring one of the largest collections of early aeroplanes in the world, the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is an aviation museum that’s dedicated to preserving, restoring, and flying historic aircrafts.
The museum reopened to the public on May 1, and their plan is to resume biplane rides/lighthouse tours on May 14 and airshows on June 19 and 20.
A New Retro-Style Ice Cream Shop Has Opened in Cohoes
