Celebrate 4th of July at the Empire State Plaza
The best fireworks show in the region is back as Price Chopper and Market 32 present New York State’s 4th of July Celebration at the Empire State Plaza. This annual event will feature live music, food and beverage vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the night. Admission is free, and the event will run from 6:00pm-10:00pm on July 4.
Get Ready to “SCOOT’ Across the Capital Region This Summer
Are you a fan of the CDPHP Cycle! bike sharing program in the Capital Region? If so, then you’ll want to stay tuned for the Capital District Transportation Authority’s new electric scooter program, SCOOT, which is coming this July. The program will allow people to rent fully electric scooters in the Capital Region, and while full details have yet to be announced, this sounds like a fun way to explore the area. Experience the Magic of Flight at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome’s Weekend Airshows
Last weekend, Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Red Hook kicked off their popular season of airshows. Airshows will take place at the museum every weekend through October 17, and this year’s programs include the “History of Flight” on Saturdays and “WWI Air Show” on Sundays. This is a fantastic opportunity to see historic airplanes take flight, and tickets are available now.

Registration Is Open for the Freihofer’s® Run for Women

The Freihofer’s® Run for Women is one of the nation’s most prestigious all-women road races, and the 43rd edition is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, in downtown Albany. Online registration officially opened earlier this week, and the races include the Run for Women 5K, the Junior 3K Run, and the Kids’ Run. Sign up today and start training!
