Whether you’re a car enthusiast or interested in upgrading your vehicle to a new model, the 2021 Albany Auto Show is the place to be. The Albany Auto Show features over 150 new cars, trucks, minivans, sport-utilities, luxury, utility, alternative fuel, and electric vehicles from top manufacturers, and it’s scheduled for November 5 – 7 at the Times Union Center.

Looking for your next favorite coffee shop in Albany? Swing by the new Primrose Cafe at 677 Broadway, which officially opened earlier this week. Primrose Cafe is owned by the JO Restaurant Group and 677 Prime, and they offer a great selection of craft coffee, tea, espresso, and house-made food options. Their current hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm.
Mark Your Calendar for The Palace Theatre’s Holiday Movie Screenings
In celebration of the holiday season, The Palace Theatre in Albany will host four holiday movie screenings in December featuring beloved classics and modern flicks. This year, the movie series will include Die Hard on December 6, Love, Actually on December 13, The Muppets Christmas Carol on December 20, and It’s A Wonderful Life on December 23. Tickets are $5, and full details are available on The Palace Theatre’s website.
New Bus Service to Connect the Capital Region to NYC
The Daily Gazette reports that a new bus service between Albany and Schenectady and New York City has recently launched. Operated by FlixBus, this bus service offers the following arrival/departure times:
Northbound Buses to the Capital Region: The bus service will depart from 31st Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan at 9:00am and arrive at Rensselaer Amtrak Station at 11:30am, the University at Albany at 11:50am, and Schenectady at 12:15pm.
Southbound Buses to NYC: The bus service will depart Schenectady at 4:15pm, the University of Albany at 4:45pm, Rensselaer Amtrak Station at 5:00pm, and then it will arrive in midtown Manhattan at 7:30pm. Fares start at $9.99.
