The fact that Albany is an incredible place to live is no secret to those who already reside here. Between the fantastic music scene, huge variety of restaurants, incredible museums, and array of cultural and historical attractions, you’ll never be bored in the Capital City.
We’re pleased to say that recently, U.S. News caught on to how awesome Albany is and named it the number one place to live in New York State!
One of the biggest things U.S. News highlighted in their article was the vibrant culture found on Lark Street, with special mention given to the small businesses, galleries, and wine shops on the road. The article also mentioned the city’s lively winter happenings, including hockey, ice skating at the Empire “Skate” Plaza, and more.
In addition, U.S. News pointed out that Albany is conveniently located halfway between the Adirondack Park to the north and the Hudson Valley to the south, making it the perfect place if you’re looking to explore the region.
We’re excited to see Albany get the recognition it deserves, not just as the number one place to live in New York State, but as the “#21 Best Place to Live” in the U.S. too, according to the rankings.
