‘Tis the season for fun fall events! There are a variety of cool things happening this weekend in the Capital Region, especially on Saturday! Enjoy autumn fun at Ellms Family Farm, attend The Albany Barn’s Annual Anti-Gala, check out the Schenectady Fall Spooktacular, see Disney’s Aladdin at Proctors, and more.
Ellms Family Farm is located in Ballston Spa, just a short drive north of Albany. Open from 10 AM-6 PM every Saturday and Sunday through the end of October, it’s the perfect spot to take your kids for some autumn fun. Attractions include corn mazes, ziplines, pumpkin- and apple-shaped jump pads, a pumpkin patch, train rides, a hay climb, and much, much more. Bring the whole family for a day of fun!
Disney’s Aladdin is now at Proctors! With incredible theatrics, an extraordinary cast, and unforgettable spectacle, it’s not a show you want to miss! The show is recommended for children ages six and up by Disney, but Proctors has no age limit.
Celebrate the arts, check out live art making and poetry writing on site, enjoy delicious chef-made food, and dance the night away at the annual Anti-Gala at Albany Barn. The event will also feature a silent auction and mystery locker raffle.
Two of our favorite things in one place: coffee and cars! This casual event will have food, beverages, music, and more activities available. The Cars & Coffee show will be located on the Regal Cinemas side of the Clifton Park Center Mall, and there’s no entry fee.
Come check out 70+ local artists, crafters, and small business owners at this event! Purchase your new favorite decoration, Christmas gifts for everyone, and more. Food will be available for sale, and if you have some non-perishables you aren’t using, bring them along—the event will have a collection site for local food pantries.
Saturday afternoon will be full of fun autumn activities in Schenectady at the Fall Spooktacular. The entire downtown area will be filled with music, art, food, merchandise, and more. There will also be a bounce house and hayrides for the kids.
Join artists, chefs, and community members in Troy for this special grassroots event! You’ll help support local food programs by purchasing hand-thrown bowls by Capital Region artisans. All bowls will cost $20.
Get ready for pumpkin carving at Wolf Hollow Brewing Company! Bring the kiddos and enjoy the afternoon during this outside event. Ticket purchase includes a pumpkin, stencils, carving tools and, of course, a beer token. Spots are limited!
Welcome perennial favorite Trae Sheehan back to the Acoustic Vibe Café @ W.Whitman Books! Trae’s folk/indie sound is rooted deeply in his birthplace in the heart of the Appalachians, West Virginia. Don’t miss out on this singer/songwriter/storyteller, his shows are truly an experience.
