This weekend in the Albany area, check out a variety of fun events—including Veterans Day celebrations, a craft fair and arts festival, the annual Land Rover Defender Festival, and the 17th annual Capital Region Wing Wars.
The City of Albany’s Veterans Day Parade

At 11 AM on Friday, the annual Veterans Day Parade will take place in Albany. The parade will begin at the corner of Ontario St and Central Avenue and march east on Central Avenue and then Washington Avenue, ending at the corner of Washington Avenue and Hawk Street. Parking in the area will be limited, so be sure to plan ahead!
Veterans Day Celebration at Allied Brewing

Join Allied Brewing to celebrate our nation’s heroes with 1/2 price Allied beers all evening for veterans and active military. The tasting room will be open, and from 6-9 PM, live music will be performed by Tame The Rooster.
Saratoga Restaurant Week

Clifton Park Elks Basketball Hoop Shoot

This national free-throw contest is for kids aged 8-13, with opportunities for the best-scoring boy and girl from each age group to advance through four tiers of competition, culminating in the national finals in Chicago, IL. If you’ve got a little basketball star, bring them to this free competition for a chance to win the national title and have their name listed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame!
ESYO Repertory, String, & Concertino String Orchestras Concert
