Visit the Albany Institute of Art and History on Saturday for their Drop-In Art-Making activity, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month from October-May. This event is included with museum admission, and as per museum requirement, masks are required.

Bonus Events in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Join the community in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community March, led by Mayor Sheehan, at 11:00 AM. The event will begin at the Madison Avenue entrance to the Empire State Plaza Concourse (in front of the NYS Museum entrance) and conclude at the Dr. King Monument in Lincoln Park with a wreath-laying ceremony. The CDTA will provide one shuttle bus to transport disabled and/or elderly people to the memorial and back.
New York State is celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 16th during their annual Memorial Observance Webstream. New Yorkers from across the state will share their view of Dr. King’s life and dreams through music, art, and inspiring stories. Check it out and spend some time honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a true champion for change and one of America’s most influential and significant historical figures.
