The Schenectady Jewish Community Center (SJCC) is excited to announce its upcoming Purim Carnival to commemorate the Jewish holiday on March 8 at 2:00pm. The Purim Carnival celebrates the joy of the Jewish people at this time of year and will feature carnival games, face painting, bouncy bounces, prizes, food, raffle tickets, and more. It is a great event for families and single adults alike. Attendees can even earn free raffle tickets by wearing a costume, bringing redeemable cans/bottles, or donating a canned/boxed food item.
The Purim Carnival is made possible through the generous support of the Epstein Jewish Cultural Fund, Meyer and Mary Kurland/Gebell Fund, and the Jonas and Edith Flemiberg Jewish Cultural Fund. Tickets purchased prior to March 6 are $15 for JCC members and $20 for guests or $25 at the door. The free Wooden Gragger Workshop is made possible through the generosity of the Jewish Federation of NENY and the JCC “Friends of the Arts.”
