ALBANY NY — (September 6, 2008) — Head to Albany on September 6, 2008 for the Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival! A great way to wrap up the summer, this event will feature an array of talented jazz musicians performing on the shores of the Hudson River for an incredible day of free musical entertainment and more.
The fun begins at noon and lasts all day through 7:30 pm, ending the festival with a magnificent fireworks display! Don’t miss these talented jazz acts:

Join in the fun as Albany’s Riverfront Park at the Corning Preserve is transformed into a musical entertainment center for jazz aritsts and music lovers of all ages. There will be food and beverages available for purchase, and many talented jazz performances to enjoy all day long.
In the event of rain, The Palace Theatre at the corner of Clinton Avenue and North Pearl Street, has been chosen as the rain location.
The Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival is sponsored by Mayor Jerry Jennings, the City of Albany and M & T Bank as well as many other local sponsors. Please be advised, no dogs or pets (except service animals) and no glass containers are allowed at city co-sponsored events. There is nearby parking available at the Columbia Street Garage for a $5 fee.
