		<description><![CDATA[<p><a title=\"Albany, NY\" href=\"http://www.albany.com\">Albany, NY</a> &#8211; The Albany Tulip Festival Committee is seeking craft and food vendors for the 64th Annual Albany Tulip Festival on May 12 &#38; 13, 2012, outdoors in <a title=\"Washington Park On Albany.com\" href=\"http://www.albany.com/hotspot_washington-park.cfm\">Washington Park</a>, Albany. Annual attendance for the weekend event is approximately 80,000.</p>
<p><strong>Application deadline for craft vendors is Monday, February 13</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Application deadline for food vendors is Monday, February 20</strong>.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p><a href=\"http://www.albany.com\">Albany</a>, NY – The 2012 Albany Tulip Festival Committee is seeking visual artists to exhibit at the Fine Arts Show at the 64th Annual Tulip Festival on May 12 &#38; 13, outdoors in Albany’s Washington Park. Annual attendance for the weekend event is approximately 80,000.</p>
<p>Eligibility: Painting (watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil, etc.), drawing, sculpture, prints, photography, etching, collage and mixed media. No craft, commercial or retail vendors.</p>
<p>All exhibitors must be 18 years or older.</p>
<p>Cost: $70 for 2 days + $10 jury fee</p>
<p>Deadline for submission: <strong>February 13, 2012</strong>.</p>

<p>The <a href=\"http://www.albany.com/business/schenectady-museum-and-suits-bueche-planetarium-80/\">Schenectady Museum &#38; Suits-Bueche Planetarium</a> has received a $3,000 Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network (NISE Net) grant. The funds will be used to help cover the cost of integrating real-world examples of nanotechnology into the Museum’s existing exhibits through a “Nanotrail” of nanotechnology-related items and information.</p>
