The 2013 Capital District Scottish Games return to the Altamont Fair Grounds. Join in the festivities with live music, dance performances, bag pipes, a 5K race, and so much more!
For Labor Day weekend, the Scottish Games have something for everyone! This year's schedule boasts back-to-back, all-day fun. Even before the Opening Ceremonies, families can catch some of the awesome bands performing, see individual pipers and drummers, and watch Irish dancers perform!
Catch the opening Ceremonies including the Parade of Tartans - who knew there were so many? The Scottish Games have the kids entertained all morning with pony rides, a petting zoo, bouncy house, and more! In the afternoon, send them off to the children's events and arts & crafts!
There's even something for dog-lovers! Gather the family around to see the Celtic Canine Capers followed by the Pipe Band competitions.
Reserve your campsite for the evening so that you can return bright and early and resume the fun!
Come back on Sunday, September 1st to do it all again! See the 5K race at 10:30, followed by the continuation of the events you loved on Saturday! Be sure to catch the awards at the end of the day!
