Wed, 16 May 2012 08:29:00 EDT Here is the latest NEWS10 ABC Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Andy Gregorio
Perhaps some severe storms this afternoon then a nice stretch of weather to follow
=========================
Today we will be in a warm and a bit of a humid airmass (in advance of an approaching strong cold front). As this front moves across the area this afternoon and to our east by early evening we will see some more showers and storms fire up. Some the storms COULD be strong or even severe with high wind and hail potential. Right now I do not anticipate a widespread severe weather outbreak we still have to keep an eye to the sky and we'll also be watching the radar closely.
The storms and showers will develop around 2 or 3 PM to the west of the Hudson valley, reach the valley between 4 and 6 PM and then pass across Western New England between 5 and 8 PM. with the front's passage to our east the wet weather will end in most places by 9pm and dry pleasant weather will follow during the night with clearing skies.
High pressure will control our weather from Thursday through the weekend with some spectacular conditions expected. Temperatures will be seasonable tomorrow then warming up steadily through the weekend when they will be around 80° or warmer!
